{Spiral Table Topper Class}

If you have been to the shoppe lately you just might have seen this gorgeous table topper on display:



If you loved it, here is your chance to take a class and make one for you to display at your home!

What to bring:

*Sewing Machine, thread, pins, rotary cutter, & 10 degree wedge ruler
*Pattern (available at the shoppe)
*1 1/4 yd Bosal (Woven Fusible Stabilizer)
*8 Fat Quarters


BEFORE Class Instructions:
Have the 8 fat quarters cut and sewn into the 4 strip sets (strata) as described in the pattern.

There has been a change in our Kerry Stitch Designs class.

Instead of the three bag choices, the bag made on the 13th (Friday) will be the Day Tripper Purse:

Cost is still the same, just the bag has changed. This bag is on display at the shoppe, you must come in and see it in person....it is gorgeous and you will want one, trust me.

Kim Diehl Class

The Kim Diehl Class is just around the corner!
Days are ticking!

If you are signed up for the class and wanted a kit, go pick it up at the shoppe!

There is a class list of what you need to bring with you inside the kit so don't wait too long before you pick it up! ;)

Just a little information on Kim Diehl's Applique class that is coming up!

DATES: Friday, Nov. 5th & Saturday, Nov. 6th

LOCATION: Wilson Theatre
(Across the street from our quilt shoppe)

COST: There are two separate fees for this....

Friday-$25:: Includes Refresments & a slide show of how to use quilts in your home.

Saturday-$65:: Includes Lunch

TIME: Friday-6:00 PM
Saturday-10:00 AM to 4 PM (quilt class)

I have included a picture of the quilt she will be teaching how to make. There will be kits available at our shoppe if you would like to purchase one or if you want, you can bring your own fabric to use :)

Diaper Bag Class

Sitting on a display shelf by the shoppe register you will find this {adorable} diaper bag.
Designed by Patty, one of the many very talented ladies that works in the shoppe. Not only did she design it, but on September 23, 2010 at 10:30 am she will be teaching a class on how to make this bag!

Class cost is $25.00 + pattern. The day of the class you will need your own sewing machine & tools. Along with the pattern and the fabulous fabric you have picked out :)



The inside of the bag is completely lined and pockets galore! Not only that, but there is a ZIPPER POCKET!


While you are admiring her super cute diaper bag, take a look at the other patterns she has made....crayon holder, scripture bag (love this one!), and a purse. She does an amazing job! And don't forget to sign up for the class!

{Kids Club Class}

Friday was the day for the Kids Club Class being offered by the shoppe.

The three little girls that came did a wonderful job.
It was fun to watch as they experience making their patchwork quilt.

After class they started filling my head with ideas of what they want their next sewing class to be. These girls were so fun and eager to learn.

Mark Your Calendar!

We have limited space for a class being offered on Sept. 10th, by Valorie Brown. Her class is on hand wool applique.

Cost is $40 and it includes class, pattern, kit & 2 trunk shows.
Time: 1-4 PM at the Wilson Theatre (across the street from our shoppe).

Another Class you don't want to miss is a hand applique class by Jeana Kimball, of foxglove cottage.
Friday, Sept. 10th @ 6 PM is a trunk show, also at the Wilson Theatre. Refreshments will be served. Cost $20. Pre-registration required.

Her applique class will be Saturday, Sept. 11th from 10-4 pm. Cost is $65.00 which includes class, pattern, & kit. Limited space available!
