Just a little information on our shoppe hours during this holiday season:

We will be closing at 5:00 pm on Saturday December, 22nd and will be CLOSED Sunday, December 23rd through Wednesday, December 26th.

We will open at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 27th for our 

INVENTORY CLEARANCE SALE!!!!

Sale dates:

The shoppe will be closed Monday, May 30th

for Memorial day.

We have limited space for a class being offered on Sept. 10th, by Valorie Brown. Her class is on hand wool applique.

Cost is $40 and it includes class, pattern, kit & 2 trunk shows.
Time: 1-4 PM at the Wilson Theatre (across the street from our shoppe).

Another Class you don't want to miss is a hand applique class by Jeana Kimball, of foxglove cottage.
Friday, Sept. 10th @ 6 PM is a trunk show, also at the Wilson Theatre. Refreshments will be served. Cost $20. Pre-registration required.

Her applique class will be Saturday, Sept. 11th from 10-4 pm. Cost is $65.00 which includes class, pattern, & kit. Limited space available!

{The Gathering Place}

The Gathering Place is located on the town square in historic Rupert, Idaho. Rupert is located by the Snake River just four miles north of I-84.

We opened in 1998 in a historic building that had been home to an Idaho clothing chain since 1912. With over 10,500 square feet of fabric, books, patterns, notions and samples we are one of the largest shops in the West drawing quilters from around the world. We are family owned and operated with a dedicated, talented staff.

We have been featured in Better Homes & Garden Quilt Sampler Magazine as a top 10 shop, and are currently appearing in McCall's first publication of their America Quilts Hometown Favorites, Spring 2010.

Come see our wonderful selection of fabrics and meet our knowledgeable, friendly staff. If a visit is not in your near future, please visit our website often. We are barely getting started and will be adding product daily for quite some time.We have over 15,000 bolts of fabric, over a thousand books and patterns, and approximately 200 different, wonderful kits.
