{Tour The Shoppe Tuesday}

Today's tour finds us at one of two beauties in the shoppe.

(Hi Bonnie! Your debut on the blog! Thanks for being nice & letting me take your picture!)

Have I ever mentioned the long arm quilting in the shoppe before?!?!?!?

Well, let me tell you first off that we have 3 {extremely} talented quilters in our shoppe that when they are standing behind one of the quilters they are doing everything FREEHAND.
You read that right. They do everything freehand. No computers, no stylus lasers helping them along. They do it all!
Their work AMAZES me with the wonderful job they do! I could probably stand (In awe, might I add) and watch them as they work all day long. But I don't. :)

(Fabric pictured is BLUSH)

To read more about pricing & about the long arm quilting information click HERE
We also offer machine binding if you don't want to do it! Sometimes there comes a time where you just have time to do it yourself....let us do it for you! :)

The second machine is located a little further back in the shoppe. It is big enough you can't miss it :)

Curby's Closet {Quilted Baby Shoes}

On the tour yesterday, I mentioned the cute little display and how I would go into it more today.

So that is what I am doing.

See these cute little shoes???

Cute huh?!?!?

Well this fun display you see here is FULL of all things "Curby's Closet"

The Patterns:

And even the fabric. Quilted and ready to go! That is right! The fabric required to make these shoes needs to be quilted. These are quilted for you and did I mention how cute the fabric choices are?!??! Well, they are adorable!

All in one convenient spot!

I don't have a little baby anymore, but I want to make some just to show off how cute they are! I am sure I can find a cute baby somewhere to model them for me. :)

{Tour The Shoppe Tuesday}

Today's tour is where "the cutting" happens :)

It's all about the cutting counter area!

You will most likely find one of us working there.

There is TONS of notions on the walls. Anything from needles, scissors, rotary cutters, fabric pens, spray starch, irons, or cutting mats. Just to name a few...because just look, there is a ton of options! Don't be afraid to come back and take a peek to see if what you are looking for is back there or if there is something back there you just might want. We don't mind ;)

But there are a few things I want to point out:

This cute little display right in front of the register is always full of fun things. Right off the bat, I see the two cute tea towels. Our talented Shelley, comes up with some cute ideas for just about every holiday, season or occasion. Kits are available for these too! Those blue bottles you see is the BEST lotion I have ever tried! No joke, it's not greasy and helps those dry crafty hands.

This shelf/display usually changes quite often. Just on Saturday while I was working it was full of Kim Diehl's quilts. Today, it's different. :)

Of course, I can't leave out this cute little display area. More on this one tomorrow....

It may be our cutting tables, but don't forget to look down. Of course there are bolts & bolts of super cute fabric found under there! ;) And it continues through the length of the entire counter!

Quick tour tonight, I think I am still trying to catch my breath from working two of the three days of our sale.

Speaking of sale, thanks to you all that came in to take advantage of the sale prices! We loved to see all you fun crafty women!

{Fabric Friday}

Well, today was suppose to be fabric Friday.
It is also suppose to be the night I post what the sale is going to be for First Saturday.

Not gonna happen.
Because if you didn't know, we have been having a {HUGE} sale at the shoppe. Instead of pulling freight out of the backroom we have been cutting fabric LIKE CRAZY!

Two days down, one to go!
If you haven't made it over to the sale, you still have tomorrow!!

There has been a slight confusion on the end of bolt % off.
Here is the facts:

ALL fabric in our class room (aka sale wall) is 50% off. If you finish the bolt it is 60% off.
The confusion?!?!? It HAS TO BE FROM THE SALE WALL, to get the 60% off discount! It will have a pretty little blue dot sticker by the price tag!

See you all tomorrow at the sale!

If we are all running around like crazy and cutting like mad women, the truth is:: we are running around like crazy AND we are cutting like mad women! But it's oh so fun to see all the pretty fabrics all you crafters bring up for us to cut!

Missed the class but love the bags?!??!

{Tour The Shoppe Tuesday}

Lately I have been covering the left side of the store as you enter in the shoppe doors.

I am going to do things a little different tonight.
I want to look to the right this time.

The majority of this section if full of wovens.
Don't get me wrong it does have a little splash of different fabrics.

For instance:

Some cottons consisting of "Looking Back" & "Blessings"

It's also packed with a little bit of wilderness/winter flannels{Creekside Flannel} or{Let It Snow}

There is also the super SOFT & cuddly Woolies Flannel.

And I can't forget the wonderful Sweetwater lines. Remember the super adorable "Pure" line full of blue & browns for little boys?!??! Same line!

There is also the spot where you can find all the buggy barn books...

Excluding a few others, the whole corner of the store is pretty much full of woven fabric.

Lots & lots of it!

And I mean A.L.O.T.
More to choose from I say!

But a big thing I want to point out is this little corner here:

Looks like a wall of patterns right?!??!

Well, it's a very important wall of patterns.
You see, all those patterns you see there is where you will look if you see a store sample and want the pattern for it! All in one spot. Wonderful!

Well, if you turn around, there's some there too :) LOTS of store samples = Lots of patterns!

I hope you are all planning a little trip Thurs/Fri/Sat for the big sale!
