Diaper Bag Class

Sitting on a display shelf by the shoppe register you will find this {adorable} diaper bag.
Designed by Patty, one of the many very talented ladies that works in the shoppe. Not only did she design it, but on September 23, 2010 at 10:30 am she will be teaching a class on how to make this bag!

Class cost is $25.00 + pattern. The day of the class you will need your own sewing machine & tools. Along with the pattern and the fabulous fabric you have picked out :)



The inside of the bag is completely lined and pockets galore! Not only that, but there is a ZIPPER POCKET!


While you are admiring her super cute diaper bag, take a look at the other patterns she has made....crayon holder, scripture bag (love this one!), and a purse. She does an amazing job! And don't forget to sign up for the class!

{Fall Projects}

Next to Christmas decorations, fall is my next favorite.

There is something about the color tones of the orange and browns.
Next to decorating for the holidays, I love....I mean LOVE when the stores start stocking one of my favorite candy in the big BIG bags...and it has to have the pumpkins in it :)

But this post isn't about my obsession with candy corn....it's about all the fun fall decorating ideas that the shoppe provides all of us! And the samples in the shoppe are amazing!

Let's take a peek at the little spot slammed full of wonderful fall decor ideas.....
One of the great things about the shoppe is that if there is a store sample, the pattern usually isn't too far. Especially seasonal items. We like to keep those together :)
If it's a quilt sample you desire, there is a corner of the shoppe designated for all the shoppe samples! Smart huh?!??!

{Fabric Friday}

Hello Friday!

Is it me or did this week just {FLY} by?!?!??!

So, it's Fabric Friday again and last week I promised there was a TON of new freight in the back room.....well, there still is.

The only NEW & ON THE FLOOR fabric is this cute line:

PURE! I have been waiting for so long for this to hit the shoppe! Finding cute fabrics for little boys is kind of a challenge sometimes....well this line is busting with little boy!

See the deliciousness in the right corner?!??! That is Patty Young's new line of KNITS! I am just bursting with anxiety for these!

Too many to choose from to point out any specific line of fabric!

It's late, but it's still Tuesday ;)

Let's jump right into the tour:

Last week I had this picture up as you enter the shoppe and turn left:



Remember I told you to just ignore all the fabulous fabric on the right side of the aisle because we were doing some re-arranging?!?!?
Well, this week it's time to feature it!

It is all French General.

Don't worry about all the empty slots....they won't be empty for long-trust me!

New Fabric Friday

Just a few new lines out on the floor this week.

But the back room is getting pretty full and I am so excited for ALL the new lines that are just waiting to be scanned in and brought out to the floor! *squeal*

Like I have mentioned many times, the little black bench in the shoppe entry way changes often.
It has changed again....

This line has a {Super} cute pattern book with it and it is FULL of all things owls! All using either the boy or girl version of the fabric line.

I was lucky enough to make one of the quilts out of the book for the shoppe:


I was also (again) lucky to make the taggy owl toy in it too! I LOVE the toy! It is backed with super soft minky! Every thing is just better with minky right?!?!?!? :)
